The tennis luminary relished a playful moment with her 5-year-old daughter, whom she affectionately calls "my little buddy."
On Tuesday, the 41-year-old tennis star shared a comical TikTok video featuring herself and daughter Olympia in the bathroom, where Olympia was unwrapping tampons.
In the video's opening, Serena, foregrounded, inquires about her daughter's plaything.
"What is that?" the 23-time Grand Slam champion asks Olympia, who responds, "A cat toy for Karma."
"A cat toy for our cat?" Serena retorts, grinning.
As Olympia continues unwrapping more feminine products in the background, Serena watches with amusement.
"Do you have more cat toys? Okay, let's not, no, let's not play with too many of those," Serena jests, covering her face with her hand.
She later captioned the footage with the words "Who am I to steal her joy, it's a Cat Toy!"
Despite Serena's bustling tennis career, she and her daughter have a history of enjoying each other's company—and often share a similar sense of humor.
"She's my little buddy," Williams remarked at a panel in August, ahead of the US Open. "We do everything together. We go on dates, and it's so cool because she likes everything I do except for tennis."
"She's really fun. I see a lot of my personality in her, and it's just a great time to have her around now to see what I do on a daily," Williams continued, speaking of her little one, whom she shares with husband Alexis Ohanian.
