After three months of welcoming her second child, Serena Williams has briefly shared insights into her life as a mother. Serena recently opened up about her motherhood journey through a video posted on TikTok.
The video begins with the tennis legend striking a glamorous pose in a stunning black sequin dress with flowing sleeves worn to the 2023 CFDA Awards. However, just a few seconds later, the video transitions to Serena being at home, with a tired expression on her face, engaged in the same routine of breastfeeding as many other mothers. At the end of the video, the 42-year-old tennis star lets out a sigh.
"This is my real life. It's not as glamorous as you all may think," the mother of two captions in her video.
Serena Williams welcomed her second daughter in August, a year after announcing her retirement. Prior to that, the tennis star had revealed that family care was one of the reasons she decided to end her competitive career. Serena and her husband Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit, are parents to two daughters, 6-year-old Olympia and 3-month-old Adira.
