Brittany Matthews candidly discussed life in the public eye during a recent Instagram Q&A, along with Patrick Mahomes' amusing bedtime habit.
As co-owner of the KC Current and wife to the Super Bowl-winning Chiefs quarterback since March 2022, Matthews explained how their lives have transformed since Mahomes rose to stardom.
Responding to inquiries about everyday activities like grocery shopping, Matthews admitted that they make special arrangements when out together. Instead of handling grocery trips themselves, they rely on their chef to do the shopping to avoid buying excessive amounts.
Additionally, Matthews confessed that she prefers online shopping for clothes. Regarding Mahomes' nightly routine, she revealed that he enjoys eating Doritos in bed.
The 28-year-old entrepreneur also shared insights into their family security and reflected on the wild nature of the world, a lesson she's learned from living in the spotlight.
Despite their visibility, Matthews dismissed the idea of doing a reality show with her family. However, they were featured in Netflix's "Quarterback," which followed their lives on and off the field during the 2022 NFL season.
Matthews also highlighted the NFL stadiums where she has had the best experiences, praising Arizona and San Francisco for their helpfulness and accommodations.
The couple, who married in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii, has two children: daughter Sterling, 2, and son Bronze, 10 months.
Looking ahead, the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs will face Jacksonville in Week 2 on September 17 after a season-opening loss to the Lions.
