Serena Williams Elevates Her Maternity Style With a Cozy Knit Gucci Set. Her pregnancy wardrobe continues to impress

Serena Williams has just given her maternity wardrobe a stylish update with the help of Gucci.

The tennis icon showcased her fashion flair in photos shared on her Instagram today. Posing against stunning floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a tropical paradise, Williams proudly flaunted her blossoming baby bump in a comfortable knit ensemble consisting of a cropped turtleneck top and a chic miniskirt. The two-piece ensemble featured horizontal stripes in deep green, mint, and yellow hues, adorned with Gucci's iconic interlocking G logo in a coordinating mustard tone across the torso.

For accessories, Williams kept it understated, opting only for a dainty gold wristwatch from Audemars Piguet.

“I've been waiting a long time... for this moment to come.... I'm destined for anything at all,” the athlete captioned the post.

Several of Williams's celebrity friends praised her latest maternity fashion in the comments section. Paris Hilton left an emoji: “😍.” Naomi Campbell also showed her admiration for the outfit with three heart emojis: “❤️❤️❤️.”

Williams is expecting her second child with husband Alexis Ohanian. The announcement came at the 2023 Met Gala last May, where she stunned in a dramatic black-and-white Gucci gown that showcased her baby bump.

The Grand Slam champion previously disclosed her decision to step away from tennis. In an emotional essay published last August, she revealed that her choice was partly influenced by her desire to expand her family.

“I'm here to tell you that I'm evolving away from tennis, toward other things that are important to me,” she wrote. “A few years ago I quietly started Serena Ventures, a venture capital firm. Soon after that, I started a family. I want to grow that family.”

Williams and Ohanian welcomed their first child, daughter Alexis Olympia, in 2017.
