Selena Gomez is worried about her close friend Taylor Swift's fast-paced romance with Travis Kelce: 'That's not like her style'.

Singer Selena Gomez feels concerned for Taylor Swift upon observing the swift progression of her relationship with Travis Kelce. A source told Page Six that the former Disney star finds Taylor's behavior in this new relationship somewhat peculiar considering her past.

"Selena thinks Taylor going to games and throwing parties all over New York right after meeting Travis is very out of character for her," the insider asserted. "Throughout history, Taylor has always been extremely private about everything, and now with this relationship, she's open about it to the point where it's really odd for Selena."

Before Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift had a long-term relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, which ended earlier this year. Even when they were together, they were rarely seen in public together. However, Taylor Swift is now very open about her new romance.

The insider mentioned that Selena was surprised to see Taylor Swift hanging out with her new boyfriend's parents just a few weeks after they started seeing each other. Moreover, Taylor holding hands with Travis in public within less than a month of dating was also very unusual. The source confirmed that Selena turned down Travis's invitation to attend his game because she didn't want to be part of the "media frenzy."

"Selena doesn't want to be a part of the media frenzy because it's really chaotic. It's not coming from a malicious place, and it's not that she doesn't like them together. She just cares about how it's being handled," the insider explained.

However, the close-knit duo isn't arguing about it, evidenced by their recent outing in West Hollywood, California, earlier this month. Besides Selena, Haim sisters and Travis's brother, Jason Kelce, also express concerns about this rapid pace of romance.
