During the clip, Mahomes was seen speaking to teammates without wearing a shirt, a common sight in the immediate aftermath of an NFL game.
Despite this being a standard postgame scene, Mahomes became aware of the footage circulating on Twitter and felt it depicted him in an unfavorable light, even jokingly referring to his physique as a "dad bod." Clearly, Mahomes was taken aback by the attention the video received, especially given his role as a father.
In response, Mahomes humorously addressed NFL Films, reminding them that, indeed, he is a parent – a reality that naturally influences his physical appearance.
