Sterling Mahomes Steals the Spotlight in Brittany Mahomes' Latest Instagram Post

Brittany Mahomes' latest Instagram post isn't about her husband Patrick Mahomes; instead, their daughter Sterling takes center stage.

Born on February 20, 2021, Sterling Mahomes, the couple's eldest child, is set to turn four in just over a month. She is a year and nine months older than her sibling, Bronze, born on November 28, 2022.

In a series of adorable snapshots, Sterling shares an uncanny resemblance to her mother. The duo poses amidst the snow, clad in matching outfits, with Brittany donning a blue gilet, black sweatpants, hoodie, and black and blue shoes.

Despite Patrick Mahomes' mixed race heritage, Sterling bears a striking resemblance to her mother, showcasing her status as a mommy's girl for the time being. Brittany Mahomes shared the heartwarming images on her Instagram account, amassing over 88,000 likes within 10 hours.

In one image, Sterling stands beside her mother, appearing tiny in comparison, akin to a mini-me. Another photo captures the youngster exploring the snow with curiosity, alongside her parent.

While Patrick Mahomes is absent from the snapshots, his absence is understandable as he gears up with the Kansas City Chiefs for the NFL postseason game against the Buffalo Bills on January 21 at 18:30 ET.

Coming from a family of athletes, with his father a former professional baseball player in the MLB, and his brothers involved in college basketball and high-school football, there's an inherent legacy for Sterling and Bronze to live up to. However, Patrick Mahomes himself isn't keen on imposing any specific path on his children.

"I think that’s the best thing for me," he shared ahead of his son's birth. "I’m going to help teach my son, my daughter all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn. But at the same time, I want to let it be about them."

Reflecting on his upbringing, Mahomes emphasizes the importance of allowing children to explore their interests freely, without pressure, a philosophy that has shaped his own journey to success.
