Brittany Mahomes Contemplating Homeschooling for Son Bronze and Daughter Sterling's Education

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes may have young children, but they are already envisioning big aspirations for their futures.

Considering her children's education, Brittany Mahomes, co-owner of the Kansas City Current, engaged in a Q&A session with fans on Instagram Tuesday night, seizing the opportunity after putting her two kids—daughter Sterling Skye, 2½, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 8 months—to bed early.

When asked about her thoughts on schooling her young ones, the football wife disclosed her inclination toward homeschooling.

Brittany and husband Patrick Mahomes have previously discussed their children's futures, highlighting daughter Sterling's innate athletic abilities.

"We never taught her how to play soccer. She observed it from attending the Kansas City Current games with Brittany," Patrick shared with PEOPLE regarding the Netflix documentary series Quarterback last month. "Then we returned home, and suddenly she was kicking the soccer ball around."

"So I believe the genes will play a role, but regardless, it doesn't matter. We want them to pursue their dreams, and if it's sports, that's fantastic. If it's something else, we'll support them equally," he added.

Patrick also expressed his hope that his children would come to understand that when he's not at home, he's diligently working to achieve his dreams.

"I don't know what my kids' dreams will be, but I want them to strive for them and work hard. They're too young now to comprehend, but as they grow older, I want them to realize that they can pursue their dreams while still having a great family life at home," he emphasized, highlighting the inspiration this could provide them.
