Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian recently celebrated the arrival of their newest family member, baby girl Adira River Ohanian. Now, catch a glimpse of the heartwarming moment when their eldest daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., met her little sister.
Love filled the air as Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian's daughter Olympia embraced her role as a big sister.
Following the announcement of their daughter Adira's birth, Alexis shared precious photos capturing the special encounter between his 5-year-old and her newborn sibling. In the images posted on Instagram on Aug. 22, Olympia, dressed in a charming pink dress with blue-painted nails, beamed with joy as her father cradled the family's newest addition in his arms.
"Welcome, Adira River Ohanian," wrote the 40-year-old in the caption. "Our home is now filled with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and a happy & healthy mama. Grateful beyond words."
Expressing his gratitude for Serena, Alexis hailed her as "the GMOAT" (the greatest mother of all time) and thanked her for the incomparable gift of their new daughter.
"I'll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her baby sister," he added.
The news of Adira's arrival comes three months after Serena revealed her baby bump at the 2023 Met Gala. Serena shared that she and Alexis, who exchanged vows in 2017, kept the pregnancy a secret from Olympia until just before they walked the red carpet, fearing she might accidentally spill the beans.
In a touching YouTube video filmed on the morning of the prestigious event, Serena broke the news to Olympia, who responded with sheer excitement, exclaiming, "Are you kidding me?" before rushing to hug her mom. "I'm so excited!" she exclaimed, capturing the genuine joy of welcoming a new member to the family.
