The love story between tennis icon Serena Williams and her devoted husband Alexis Ohanian unfolds in a rather entertaining manner. Williams once revealed that her initial encounter with Ohanian wasn't exactly pleasant, as she found him annoying for choosing a table too close to hers in a hotel in Rome.
Recalling the amusing incident to Vanity Fair, Serena explained, "This big guy (standing at 1.95 m tall) comes and he just plops down at the table next to us, and I’m like, ‘Huh! All these tables and he’s sitting here?’”
In an attempt to deter Ohanian, Serena and her friends claimed they had seen a rat near his table. To their surprise, he humorously responded, “I’m from Brooklyn. I see rats all the time.”
Despite the rocky start, the tables turned in their favor, and the couple eventually began dating after Serena invited Alexis to watch her play at Roland Garros.
During an Instagram Q&A session, Serena was asked, "What made you fall in love with your hubby."
Her playful response? "He feed me well."
