Serena Williams introduces Beyonce at the VMAs in an elegantly seductive and glamorous fitted gown

Before the commencement of the US Open, Serena Williams made a pitstop at the Video Music Awards to present Beyonce.

MTV's Video Music Awards showcased the participation of various notable sports figures. Initially, Michael Phelps acknowledged Future and shared that he was tuned in to "Stick Talk" when he turned into a meme. Following that, Iman Shumpert surprised the audience by making an appearance in Kanye West's music video, premiering during the event.

Later on, just before Beyonce mesmerized the audience with an extended performance, Serena Williams graced the stage at Madison Square Garden to introduce the pop sensation.

It's worth noting that Williams had previously appeared in the music video for Beyonce's song "Lemonade."

As the US Open gears up for the week, this choice of appearance garnered criticism from Canadian tennis player Genie Bouchard, who, at 22, is set to compete in the women's draw on Tuesday. Notably, Williams holds the No. 1 seed in the draw, while Bouchard remains unranked.

It's essential to mention that Bouchard is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with the USTA due to an incident last year when she slipped and fell in the locker room during the tournament, resulting in a concussion.
