Lionel Messi put on a show for his new set of fans when he took to the pitch to make his Inter Miami debut on July 21.
Messi was introduced alongside his former Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets in the second half of Miami's game against Cruz Azul in the League Cup.

Among those who had gathered at the DRV PNK Stadium to watch the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner play was Serena Williams, who is a star in her own right as far as tennis is concerned.
Williams was in Florida alongside NBA legend LeBron James, NFL star Tom Brady, and socialite Kim Kardashian among other stars.
Footage showed Williams shell-shocked after Messi's freekick went in. The 23-time Grand Slam winner could not believe her eyes as Messi wheeled away in celebration.
The 41-year-old is currently expectant with her second child.

Sports Brief has also reported that celebrities flocked to DRV PNK Stadium to watch Messi play, including Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, who made the trip to Miami to see his fellow sports icon play.
He was seen entering the arena wearing a hat, white shirt, and shorts. The main star of the show, however, was Messi, who got massive cheers from fans when he arrived at the stadium ahead of his debut.
James was later seen hugging Messi inside the stadium before the game started.

The England legend and club co-owner could not hide his admiration after the beauty of a goal, which reminded him of his playing days when he was an expert at setpieces.
